Weeks 28 - 32

We're finally blogging! Sorry to keep you waiting, but we've been beyond busy. I am now in the third and final trimester of my pregnancy and it has definitely flown by. Since we last updated we've had a handful of doctor's appointments (now I'm up to every 2 weeks), two sonograms, one baby shower (see photos on facebook) and some nursery decorating! Everything has been going great! Melon is growing like crazy and kicking away at my belly.

We had our hospital tour, which was very surreal. We got to see where we will deliver and where we will spend time after delivery. The rooms are very nice, so that made me happy! My favorite part was seeing the nursery with the newborn babies. Pretty soon our little girl will be in there!!

We don't have any great photos to show you from our sonograms. At our week 28 sonogram Melon was being stubborn and would not show her face. She had her hands over her face and was facing my back pretty much the whole time. At our Week 32 sonogram she was in the same position but she's also so big now that it's harder to see her on the sonogram clearly... at least for those of us not trained like the technicians. But, most importantly, she is healthy, strong and measuring just a little ahead of schedule. We have one more sonogram before delivery so maybe we'll get a good photo then.

Here are some photos:

Here she is giving us the finger at 28 weeks.

This is a hard one to figure out, but this is the front of her face at 32 weeks.

How big is Melon at 32 weeks?
