6 Months!

I can't believe it's been half a year already! Time really does fly! Molly was 11 lbs 10 oz and 25 1/4 inches at her 6 month appointment. She's still a little peanut, so we're trying to pork her up. We have started supplementing with formula and it seems to already be making a difference in just a short amount of time. She's still nursing in the morning and at bedtime, but it's hard to tell how much a baby takes in when they exclusively nurse. Now we can monitor how much she's getting during her feedings. We also upped her solids to 1/3 a cup two times a day. She loves meal time!

Molly is quite the chatterbox and she is quick to let us know when she's not happy with something. She just yells, "Na na na na na na na!" It is quite comical. She has also become a master at sitting up by herself and will spend a lot of time on her blanket just playing with toys or banging on her little piano. If she topples over she rolls onto her belly and tries to scoot around. She'll be crawling before we know it! Eek!

Now that she's figured out how her hands work she likes to grab at anything and everything within her reach. We have learned to pay close attention at the grocery store while holding her because she will knock things off shelves if she can!

Molly is SO much fun... full of smiles and giggles. We just love watching her learn and discover the world!

Here is her 6 month photo (and her 5 month, because we forgot to put that up!)
