Four Months

Sorry for the lack of posts... I was recently laid off from my job and have not mustered up the energy to post until now. It has been a blessing in disguise because I was truly unhappy there and missing my Mollybean. Now I have a couple months to figure things out and spend time with my baby, so I'm happy about that!

At Molly's 4 month appointment she weighed 10.1 lbs, however since a week has gone by she's definitely put on some more weight. And she's 24.5 inches tall! Growing girl! She's also very strong and I wouldn't be surprised if she was an early crawler. Our doctor gave us the go ahead to start Molly on solids if she's ready. She's taken an interest in watching us eat, so I think within the next couple of weeks we will try some solids! I can't wait to watch her face. :)

Molly is officially a tummy sleeper! She immediately rolls over on her side when we put her in her crib and within a few minutes she usually makes it over to her tummy. (Maybe her hair will grow back now!) She's reaching and grabbing for everything in sight, including my hair and my mouth! She likes singing and dancing to our Raffi Pandora station every night as well as having long conversations filled with goos and gaahs.

She is very interactive and always has a smile on her face. She's soaking up the world around her and wants to explore everything. We try to take her on a walk every day that the weather is nice so she can enjoy all the scenery... and Mommy can get some exercise!

Molly finally has given us some giggles and it is the cutest sound I have ever heard! Don't worry, we caught it on video! That is our next project... uploading her videos! We are very behind :)
