Welcome!

Welcome to our bloggie blog! We set this up so our friends and family could have a peek into our whirlwind life without having to share all with the Facebook world. We met on St. Patrick's Day 2008 in Charlotte, NC and there were instant sparks, however Nikki chickened out and it wasn't until a year and a 1/2 later (after reconnecting on facebook) that we fell head over heels in love. Naturally, our next plans were to get a dog, get engaged and then married and then somewhere in there buy a house, do some traveling, and eventually, of course, have babies. Those are great plans, right? Well, we were completely thrown for a loop when we discovered in March 2010 that we were pregnant... SURPRISE! So, here we are, obsessive planners, doing everything backwards, sideways and enjoying every minute. We hope you enjoy our journey!
